Jai Raj ISPAT LTD to set up Rs 3,000 cr plant in Mahabubnagar

Telangana has bagged another major investment! Jai Raj ispat ltd today announced that it will establish steel plant in Dharur Mandal of Mahabubnagar District. The proposed plant will come up at the Group’s 250-acre land in the southern Telangana district. Jai Raj Ispat Limited Executive Director Siddharth Jain met Minister for Industries KT Rama Rao and gave details of the project. Sri Jain said that they have surveyed industrial atmosphere in all the States of India and eventually chose Telangana due its proactive and prompt Governance. The visiting team also said that there is positive response from the industry towards Telangana’s policies and promptness.

           

The proposed steel plant will come up in two phases with an investment of approximately Rs 3,000 crore. With a production capacity of 10 lakh tonnes annually, the plant will provide direct employment to 1,200 while 3,500 will be indirectly benefitted.

           

Minister  KT Rama Rao assured the Group of all cooperation from the Telangana Government and directed the Arvind Kumar, Secretary, Industries to take requisite steps. The Jai Raj Steel representatives said that they will introduce top-notch, state-of- the-art technology in the plant hat shall drastically reduce pollution levels. Jai Raj Steel will produce TMT bars out of the new facility. Minister  KT Rama Rao instructed Ms. Sreedevi, District Collector, Mahabubnagar to extend support from the Government. (NSS)
