London : Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his side are disappointed after going down 3-1 in penalties against Manchester City in the League Cup final but insisted that the Anfield club will soon bounce back from the defeat.
Following a 1-1 draw at half-time, Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero made three penalty saves before veteran midfielder Yaya Toure netted the decisive penalty to give City victory at Wembley on Sunday.
The German manager said that Liverpool would strike back, insisting that they need to work harder as there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’, the Mirror reported.
Earlier, Fernandinho had put City ahead in the second half before Philippe Coutinho restored parity for Liverpool in the 83rd minute. (ANI)
