Hyderabad: The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will visit various ongoing irrigation projects and review their progress. On 31st December a team of retired engineers led by retired Chief Engineer Shyam Prasad will visit pump houses of Medigadda, Sundhilla, Annaram barrages which comes under Kaleshwaram Project. On the same evening the team of Retired engineers will appraise the stock of the progress of the projects to the Chief Minister.
This was stated by the Chief Minister’s office here in a press release today. The release said that on 1st of January 2019 the team of retired engineers will visit Palamuru-Rangareddy, Dindi irrigation projects. They will examine the progress of the works taken up. On 2nd January the team will visit Seeta Rama Project and other surrounding areas and reach Hyderabad on the same day.
On 1st January 2019 the CM will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Justice of Telangana and other Judges. Later CM will fly from Begumpet airport to Kaleshwaram Project by Helicopter. The CM will examine the construction of Pump houses of the ongoing irrigation projects of Medigadda, Sundhilla, Annaram barrages. On the same day CM will reach Karimnagar and stay there overnight. Next day morning, the CM will visit Sriram Sagar project which is taken up under Kaleshwaram and examine the progress of the rejuvenation works and the surrounding sites. KCR will visit the pump house sites of Rajeshwarrao pet, Rampur and return to Hyderabad on the same day.
The team of retired engineers who visited Kaleshwaram, Palamuru-Rangareddy, Dindi, Sita Rama Projects will reach Hyderabad on 2nd evening and submit their report to the Chief Minister. The CM will hold review meeting on the ongoing irrigation projects at pragathi bhavan on 3rd or 4th of January.
The dates of the second phase of CM’s tour to examine the works of Midmaner to Konda Pochamma Sagar which comes under Kaleswaram and visit of Palamuru, Dindi, Sitarama Projects will be finalized later.
