Former Nizamabad MP and Congress leader Madhu Yakshi Goud came down heavily on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao accusing him of not taking up the issue of High Court division with the Centre.
Speaking to reporters at the party office here on Sunday, Goud said that the CM got an opportunity to raise the issue of High Court division with the Centre during the Inter-State Council meeting but he did not utilize it. “KCR said he would protest against the Centre at Jantar Mantar for delaying the division of High Court but he did not utter a word on the issue during his meeting with the Prime Minister. KCR owes an apology to the people of the state for misleading the people,” the former MP said.
KCR did not utter anything when the judges were suspended and this shows that he is least bothered about the division of the High Court, Goud added. (INN)
