KCR falls sick, skips Raj Bhavan dinner

Citing ill health, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao skipped the dinner hosted by Governor ESL Narasimham at Raj Bhavan in honour of President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday evening.

Interestingly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who skipped the official ceremony to receive the President at the Air Force Station, Hakimpet on Monday, attended the dinner. Both Deputy Chief Ministers of Telangana, Kadiyam Srihari and Mohammed Mahmood Ali, and other ministers and officials of Telangana Government were present at Raj Bhavan for the Governor’s dinner.

According to sources, KCR is keeping unwell and had fever. On Tuesday, he cancelled all his official engagements and confined himself to his camp office at Begumpet. However, he had a brief meeting with ACB Director General AK Khan, who called on him before the High Court granted bail to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy in ‘Cash for Vote’ case. (INN)
