Mumbai, August 21: A special court hearing the 26/11 terror attack case has allowed prime accused Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab and two others to observe ‘Roza’ (fast) during the holy month of Ramzan.

Hearing a plea of defence lawyer Abbas Kazmi, judge M L Tahaliyani said he would give instructions to the jailor to make available facilities for the accused to observe Roza from tomorrow.

The other two accused are Fahim Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed. All three are lodged in central prison at Arthur Road in Central Mumbai.

During Ramzan, Muslims observe Roza and have food before sunrise and after sunset, Kazmi said and requested the court to make arrangements so that Kasab is kept informed about the time in the evening and morning when to break the fast.
