Mumbai, October 20: Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab today refused to appear before the Bombay High Court through a video conference link saying he was not interested in hearing arguments on confirmation of his death sentence but the judges told his lawyer to find out his grievances.
Kasab, who had thrown tantrums by spitting at a webcam yesterday, told jail officers that he would not come for the video conference. They, in turn, informed the court.
Hearing allegation of Kasab’s lawyer Amin Solkar that he was not allowed to meet his client yesterday after the court working hours, justices Ranjana Desai and R V More summoned Jail Superintendent Rajendra Dhamane tomorrow to the court to hear his stand.
The judges said they would pass orders tomorrow after hearing Dhamane and suggested Solkar to consider meeting Kasab during court hours.
