Kalkiji Maharaj appeals Shri Ram Sena members from London to be clam: Ayodhya verdict

Bhopal, September 30 (Pervez Bari): Kalkiji Maharaj, International president Shri Ram Sena & ex-president Shiv Sena J&K State, has appealed to all Shri Ram Sena members to be clam and meditative in the days to follow.
In a Press release issued via-e-mail from London, United Kingdom, Kalkiji Maharaj said: “Our Hindu Dharma teaches that violence is not justified even at the cost of our own hunger. I am appealing to all Hindu brothers and sisters worldwide to follow the teachings of Shri Ram and not resort to violence. I know there will be a judgement on the case of Ayodhya and regardless of the outcome I am calling for complete calm and peace throughout India. There are political parties who have their own interests in this matter and are not spiritual. Their aim is to divide Hindus and Muslims and create religious war. We should not listen to these politicians whether they are Hindu or Muslim. We need a positive solution.

“I am proposing an amicable solution where we the Hindus build a mosque for the Muslims to pray in close to the previous site before we build our temple in Ayodhya. I see this as a win/win situation for both the Hindus and Muslims. We are one nation that was divided along religious lines. In our thirst for freedom we allowed these lines to be drawn and thereby disgraced our religious teachings and the very sacred doctrine that we stand for. Strength comes from unity and if we are to take a seat on the security council of the United Nations we should speak in one voice”, the release exhorted.

Kalkiji Maharaj said fragmentation of India is a sure way of slipping back to being one of the poorest countries in the world. This time financially and spiritually.

This is the time for all Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians, Jains, Zoroastrians and all Indian citizens to join together and to stand as one nation and not identify yourself by your faith, but as a nation. True victory can be achieved when we as a nation have stopped bleeding along partitioned lines of faith. I appeal again for peace and calm throughout India, the release said. (pervezbari@eth.net)
