Executive Director of Minorities Corporation of Medak District, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Rasheed while addressing a press conference in the New Collectorate Complex at Sangareddy told that JOB oriented training courses are being provided for the unemployed minority candidates.
All the commissioners of Municipalities and MPDO’s have been sent the application forms. Students between the age group 18-33 years whose parents annual income is less than Rs. 1 Lakh can submit their applications to respective Municipal Commissioners or MPDO’s along with income certificate, transfer certificate and a DD of Rs. 500 hundred in favour of AP State Minorities Finance Corporation.
Selection will be made on the basis of personal interview. Under this programme Computer Based Course, Tele Sales, Computer Assistant, Computer Maintenance, Hardware, BPO, Multimedia, Airlines Ticketing, IT, Desktop Publishing, Fire and Safety Courses are offered for the candidates who have passed Intermediate or Degree Examinations. For advanced Para Medical Courses, Assistant Emergency, Designing Technique, Assistant Dialysis Technique, Assistant Cardiac Technique, Assistant Anesthesia Technique, Fashion Designing, Hotel Management, CAD Operator, Telemanagement, Entrepreneurship Development and Decoration, Intermediate or Degree passed candidates can also apply.
In the same manner under self employment oriented programme Electrician, Plumbing, Carpainters, AC, Refrigerator Technician, Tailoring, Embroidery works, Lac Bangles, Motor Mechanic, Driving (Heavy Motor Vehicles), TV Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Mobile Servicing Course, Matric passed students can apply. A stipend of Rs. 350 for locals and Rs. 1000 for out station candidates would be paid. Bank Accounts of 12 thousand students are being opened. A target of Rs. 89 Lakh was earmarked for 359 candidates but 500 applications were submitted and a sum of Rs. 96 Lakh was released 2425 post matric students submitted their applications. A sum of Rs. 2.71 crore was released under fees reimbursement scheme.
A target has been fixed during this year for sanctioning loans to 1400 persons for which Rs. 14.10 crore have been allocated which includes 4.23 crore subsidy. Mr. M.A. Rasheed told that Bank Officials have also agreed to sanction loans to the needy persons.
He said the last date of submission of applications is 31st May. Present in the press conference was Ms. Fareeda Begum who is the member of 15 point implementation programme of the PM. A review meeting to consider the implementation of 15 point programme of Prime Minister will be held in new collectorate at Sangareddy under the chairmanship of District Collector Mr. Dinakar Babu on 28th May 2013.
