Prof. Mohammed Miyan, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad Urdu University has appointed Dr. Khwaja M. Shahid a retired officer of Govt. of India as Pro. Vice Chancellor of Urdu University he has also taken charge of his post yesterday.
Dr. Khwaja Shahid served as the registrar of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He graduated from Aligarh Muslim University (UP). He has been the Court member of Aligarh Muslim University and Jamial Millia Islamia. He also worked in the Department of Personell and Training as Director of the Institute of Secretarial Training and Management. He also served as Joint Secretary of Union Public Service Commission.
Dr. Khwaja Shahid is the author of 3 Urdu and 1 English book. In addition to these he has been associated as member of various professional and educational institutions.
