Patna, Aug. 21, : Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Majhi on Friday advised incumbent Nitish Kumar to watch the film ‘Manjhi’, to understand the real suffering of a backwards family.
“The film portrays the essence of a backward caste sufferings, I have been telling the same thing to ‘Sushasan Babu’ Nitish Kumar that merely creating buildings on the names of Dalits won’t solve the purpose, I would like him to see the film,” said Jitanram MAnjhi after watching the film ‘Manjhi’.
‘He (Nitish Kumar) is presently flying, he can come to know about the suffering of Dasharath Manjhi after watching this film,” Manjhi added.
Manjhi is the film based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi. Manjhi, widely known as the “Mountain Man”, was a poor laborer in Gehlaur village, near Gaya in Bihar, India, who carved a path through a mountain using only a hammer and chisel
Jitan Ram pointed out the need for developing infrastructure in the village of Dashrath Manjhi so that a traveller coming to Bihar could come to know about him.
Manjhi further said, “The youth of state should come and watch this motivational film. It will inspire them to overcome all the difficulties they face in society”.
“It’s a very encouraging story, the motivation has to be taken from the film to take Bihar forward meanwhile the election in the state is round the corner and the youth have the opportunity to understand the policies and system how they are refrain of their rights,” he added. (ANI)
