Jerusalem: An Israeli Jewish group has asked Muslims to evacuate Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday in order to let them carry out the Passover sacrifice. It must be noted that since the formation of Israel till date Jews used to carry out the traditional sacrifice near Wailing Wall. This is the first time that Jews have ordered Muslims not to enter Al-Aqsa masjid. Israeli news agency Middle East monitor with reference to Arab48.com has reported that restlessness prevails among natives of Jerusalem in the wake of this report. Because so far Jews are not permitted to enter Al-Aqsa masjid.
As reported by Arab48.com, the group posted notices at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque. “A call to the Muslim Jerusalemites,” the notice said. “Peace be upon you. We are the representatives of the Jewish people asking you to leave the Temple Mount [Jewish name for the Noble Sanctuary of Al-Aqsa] on 30 March 2018 at 6 am.” They explained that “The evacuation is aimed to let the Jews carry out the Jewish religious duty which is the Passover sacrifice at the Temple Mount.”
