Jeevan Reddy asks Minister-aspirants to strive hard for ‘T’

Hyderabad, November 28: Former Minister and Congress Party Senior Leader Jeevan Reddy today opined it was not wrong for the MLAs from the Telangana Region to join Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Cabinet.However, they should not forget their commitment to a chieving a separate State.

The former minister exuded confidence that the Justice Sri Krishna Committee would submit its recommendations in favour of a separate Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh would be bifurcated by 2014.

Speaking to the media at the premises of the State Assembly here, the former minister said as Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy claimed he was ‘Hyderabadi,’ he should also support the Telangana movement and work in favour of it till the goal was reached.

Mr Jeevan Reddy said the Congress Party had a strong base in the State and exuded confidence that their party would come into the power again ”in the States of Telangana and the Coastal Andhra” in 2014.
