Jeevan, Ponnam Question KCR on Assurances to K’Nagar Dt.

Congress senior MLA T Jeevan Reddy and Karimnagar former MP Ponnam Prabhakar have suggested to the people of Greater Hyderabad not to believe in the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s assurances and statements.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Jeevan and Ponnam have alleged that KCR was taking up the works only to hoodwink the people keeping the GHMC elections in view. They alleged that the Chief Minister has not even fulfilled four out of 40 assurances he made to the people of Karimnagar district a year ago, and said that the latter has deceived the people of the district.
Reminding KCR’s assurance that Karimnagar would be developed on par with London and Newyork, they asked him as to what happened to his assurance that Lower Maneru Dam would be developed as Brindavanam. “But nothing has been done so far”, the Congress leader said.
There was no inkling of setting up of new districts even after one year of TRS regime, they said adding at least now KCR should concentrate on development. They demanded the state government to take control of Nizam sugar factory. Asserting that not even a single assurance was fulfilled and the Chief Minister was confined to mere statements, they demanded KCR to respond on the implementation of his own assurances made to Karimnagar district.
