Chennai, November 22: Days after calling for dropping union IT Minister A Raja over alleged spectrum scandal, AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa has released “documents”, which she said showed the “dubious manner” in which 2-G spectrum was alloted.
In a statement here, Jayalatitha said she was releasing the documents after “friends from the media” called her up to find out whether the documents she cited in her recent open letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the alleged scam, were available with her.
Among others, Jayalalithaa has released copies of letters by Singh and Raja and purported file notings of the Chief Vigilance Commission (CVC) and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on the spectrum allocation issue.
