Lashing out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his “dictatorial” style of functioning, CLP leader K Jana Reddy today questioned the former as to why he was showing discrimination towards Karimnagar, which gave him political life.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Jana Reddy reminded that Kiran Kumar Reddy government had accorded permission for setting up of a medical college at Karimnagar. Jana Reddy also declared that Congress would set up medical college at Karimnagar after returning to power.
“Ponnam Prabhakar undertook hunger strike for setting up of medical college at Karimnagar in deference to the wishes of the people”, he said, adding that the development under TRS rule was like ‘one step forward and two steps backward’. (NSS)
