Jagga Reddy’s Challenge to KCR to hold Assembly Elections

Throwing a challenge at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to conduct  Assembly elections if he had confidence that the TRS party would come to power once again, former MLA Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy aka Jagga Reddy has predicted that the TRS party would win only 20 to 25 seats and the Congress party would win 70 to 80 seats if the elections conducted at any time in the state.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Jagga Reddy refuted the statement of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that the opposition parties would get only 7 to 8 seats if the elections were  conducted now. The TRS government, MLAs and Ministers were facing serious anti-incumbency, Jagga Reddy said adding  that the people have a belief that the Congress was  the only party that  does something to the people. “No doubt the TRS party would be confined to limited seats if the elections are conducted because it has no sincerity towards people”, he said and  alleged that  Chandrasekhar Rao has got a name as ‘Unavailable Chief Minister”. Leave the people and opposition parties leaders, KCR will not allow his own MLAs to meet him, he wondered. Earlier, the Chief Ministers allowed people, MLAs of his own and opposition to express their grievances, he recalled.

Demanding the TRS government to release funds to the Arogya Sree Scheme to assist the poor people, Jagga Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister has transformed the ‘Arogya Sree Scheme’ as a ‘Patient’. He alleged that the TRS government neglecting health and education sectors totally. Earlier, the poor people were in a position to avail treatment while showing white ration card in any hospital. But the situation now in the state was atrocious in this regard. The TRS government  is behaving towards Arogya Sree Scheme without any sincerity, he alleged. “It is not correct for the Chief Minister to think that the entire state is in good health condition if his  family is in a good health condition”, he pointed out. He warned KCR that the people would not forgive the government if it behaved in the same manner towards Arogya Sree Scheme. (NSS)
