Ongole (AP), October 07:) Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy continued his ‘Odarpu yatra’ in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh yesterday.
Jagan began the day from Etamukkala village in the district and went on to console a few families, whose members committed suicide or died of shock following the death of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
He went on touring several villages and unveiled the statues of YSR at several places.
Highlighting the welfare schemes like tuition fee reimbursement, free power for farmers, old age pensions launched by his father, Jagan said the initiatives earned the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister a permanent place in the hearts of people.
“I am indebted for the love and affection you are showering on me. Our beloved leader Rajasekhara Reddy has given me a huge family that comprises all of you,” he said.
