Leader of Opposition and YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy will take holy dip as part of the Krishna Pushkaralu on August 18 instead of August 13, the party sources informed the media.
Meanwhile, YSRC MLA A Ramakrishna Reddy visited the Sitaram Pushkar Ghat in Guntur district to review the arrangements there. Speaking to media persons after the visit, the YSRC leaders slammed the government for not making enough arrangements for the Krishna fete. He said that the devotees were facing herculean task in passing the traffic snarls at the venue and demanded the government to immediately solve the issue of traffic jams to the convenience of the pilgrims attending the fete. He also said that the fete works were of poor quality and would pose severe inconvenience to the pilgrims. (INN)
