Jagan Mohan alleges conspiracy to defame his father YSR

Ongole (AP), September 15: Stepping up his attack on Telugu Desam Party, Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy last night alleged that there was a “conspiracy” to defame his father and former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

“Those who do not like him are making baseless allegations against him. There is a conspiracy to defame him, though 12 months have passed since his death,” he said.

“If false allegations are made against a dead person, it shows how moral standards have fallen in politics. These allegations would not stand. Those who are making allegations would be washed away as you have so much love and affection for late Rajasekhara Reddy.”

He was speaking at Pedda Ulagallu village in Prakasam district during his ongoing ‘Odarpu (consolation) yatra’, which resumed on September 3.

TDP and the Jagan’s camps have been engaged in a war of words over corruption.
