TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that Prathipadu former MLA Mekathoti Sucharitha tendered her resignation to the Assembly taking Rs 10 crores from YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also alleged that Jagan was influencing the MLAs to tender resignations by declaring packages to them.
Addressing the gathering as part of his bye-election campaigning here on Thursday, Naidu said that Jagan has gone to jail as his time has come. He said that tendering resignation has become a fashion these days. He questioned former chief minister Dr YSR family to reveal as to how they earned Rs one lakh crores. He alleged that Karnataka former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy tried to give the bribe to the God. Naidu has demanded that the Election Commission debar the MLAs, who frequently tender resignations, from contesting the election for at least 10 years. He alleged that both Jagan and TRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao, colluding with each other, influencing the MLAs to tender resignations frequently.
Naidu exhorted the people not to make their lives dark by getting influenced by these leaders. He said that some leaders (like Jagan) were trying to purchase the MLAs with Rs 10 crores and due to this trend leaders were losing their service motto. He also said that no body will go to jail without committing a mistake and industrialists, officers and ministers too were going to jail due to the selfish motives of a single person (Jagan).
The TDP president said that Jagan has lust for money and power and questioned Pulivendula MLA YS Vijayamma as to why she was failing to see her son’s irregularities, atrocities and illegal earnings. He said that Vijayamma was criticizing that everyone was doing injustice to her son Jagan, who went to jail for looting Rs one lakh crores. He requested the people to stop Jagan’s atrocities and protect justice. He warned the people that the State would become an animal State if one votes to Congress and YSRCP. Every religion says not to involve in corrupt practices, Naidu said and given call to the people to come forward to organize a movement to destroy the Congress and YSRCP. (NSS)
