Hyderabad, September 25: Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy today continued his ‘Odarpu yatra’ in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the welfare measures like reservations for minorities and free power initiated by his father.
He consoled the family of Alivelamma at Kolalapudi village and unveiled the statues of his late father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at several places.
“Rajasekhara Reddy has occupied a permanent place in our hearts. He initiated such welfare schemes that benefited all.
That is why he is not forgotten even 13 months after his death. He has given me such a huge family that comprises all of you,” he said.
Jagan continued his tour though it was raining heavily at some villages. He rode a bullock cart at another village.
