Los Angeles, June 29: Dr Conrad Murray, the cardiologist who was the only person in the room when pop legend Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest was interviewed by the Los Angeles Police Department for over three hours.
After the long interrogation, Murray’s spokeswoman released a statement saying,”Investigators say the doctor is in no way a suspect and remains a witness to this tragedy,” reported Los Angeles Times online.
“He helped identify the circumstances around the death and clarified some inconsistencies,” added the statement.
Police confirmed that they interviewed Murray, adding that he was cooperative and “provided information which will aid the investigation”
The cardiologist licensed in Texas, Nevada and California,reportedly administered CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to Jackson before the paramedics team arrived.
He had also accompanied the singer to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where Jackson was pronounced dead.
