Ahemdabad, September 30: The Ministry of Interior of the Union on Wednesday filed a revised statement at the High Court of Gujarat, clarifying its position in the event that the Ishrat Jahan.

According to reports, the statement clarifies that the information provided by the Center was a tip off and not validate the actions taken by the Gujarat government, which led to the death of 19 year old College Girl Gujarat and Jahan Ishrat Jahan three others.

The Government of Gujarat police officers who acted on inputs provided by the Ministry of Interior of the Union, who called the four Lashkar-e-Toiba and agents claimed that the Center has given credence to reports that Ishrat Jahan was on a mission to the goal of Gujarat Chief Minister Modi.

The Interior Ministry, in its fresh affidavit, has also successively Center for Human Rights Watch, saying it respects human values and not just against false matches, but against any meeting.

The Secretary of the Interior of the Union has previously said that the Center is not responsible for the action by the government of Gujarat, based on inputs – they are not conclusive evidence.

The Center in its earlier affidavit filed in the Gujarat HC, had confirmed that Ishrat Jahan, his partner Pranesh Pillai alias Javed Sheikh and two others were killed in an encounter in 2004 had links with the Lashkar.
