IPL matches to cost dearer to multiplexes

Lucknow, March 13: The multiplexes and cinema halls showcasing Indian Premier League (IPL) matches had to shed some money in the form of entertainment tax now.

The mulitplexes and cinema halls, exempted of the entertainment tax for five years, had started showing the matches since yesterday.

Notably, as the cricket matches does not fall under the category of flicks, the showcasing of IPL matches would cost a little dearer to the multiplexes and the cinema halls.

In Lucknow, the IPL matches are being showed at Umrao cinema hall and multiplexes naming Inox, PVR, Fun Republic and Wave.
