Hyderabad, June 21: Dr. Chenna Reddy Institute for Human Resource Development is holding an international level conference in collaboration with Society for Alleviation of Poverty and National Rural Employment Guarantee Mission on “Microfinance and collective development-an Alternative”.
Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy will inaugurate the conference today at 10 am. The conference will be addressed by Union Minister of State for Environment & Forests Mr. Jairam Ramesh, Ms. V. Suneetha Lakshmi, State Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Dr. Humaira Islam, Founder Executive Director, Shakti Foundation, Bangladesh, Ms. Lakshmi Shiva Kumari, MLC, Mr. T. Vijaya Kumar Joint Secretary and Director National Rural Employment Guarantee Mission & Dr. D. Virendra Kari Dharmadhi of Karnataka.
IN this conference microfinance, practitioners from Bangladesh, hillipines, Srilanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, Africa and America are participating. Golobal Microfinance is making efforts to alleviate poverty throughout the world.
It is hoped that this conference will be fruitful for the poor in raising their income.
