Indo-British Muslim Education Foundation through Abid Ali Khan Education Trust provides scholarship every year to the students showing outstanding performance in SSC and Intermediate. This year also it has invited applications from deserving students. Dr. M Fasihuddin Ali Khan chairman foundation told that scholarships of Rs. 1 lakh will be distributed among deserving students.
Expressing happiness over cooperation by Siasat and Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan in distribution of scholarship, he quoted a Hadeeth which says ‘Seeking knowledge is obligatory on every Muslim man and woman’.
With a vision to promote education among Muslims, and to encourage brilliant students, Dr. M Fasihuddin founded Indo British Muslim Educational Foundation in the year 1999 which has been helping students for the past 15 years. This year 10 scholarships would be reserved for orphan students. For them the marks criteria would be 80 percent instead of 85 percent. 15 students who obtained more than 85 percent in SSC will be given 2000 each and 15 students who secured more than 85 percent in intermediate will be given Rs. 2500 each. The last date to submit application is November 21, 2015.
Students along with self written application and required certificates can meet General Manager Siasat Mr. Mir Shujat Ali or send the same through post. Selected students will be intimated through phone.
