New Delhi: Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen on Sunday said that the definitions of communism, secularism and liberalism have been misconstrued in India.
Nasreen wrote “In India capitalists are called communists, religious are called secular, intolerant are called liberal” on the Twitter. She further wrote that “Liberal are those who respect opposite views. The word ‘liberal’ has been hijacked by non-liberal people who can’t stand opposite views”.
