Kolkata, February 16: India were 431 for six in the first innings, in reply to South Africa’s 296, at lunch on the third day of the second cricket Test at the Eden Gardens here Tuesday.
At the break, V.V.S. Laxman was batting on 39 and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni on 27.
