Incentives to Gaming Industry, more jobs: KTR

IT Minister KT Rama Rao today asserted that more jobs will be provided to youth and talented in the gaming industry.

Inaugurating Game Developers Conference by NASSCOM at HICC here, KTR launched first look of Image Towers appearing in T shape. The minister felt that there is ample scope for creating more jobs through necessary support and help to the gaming industry. Visual effects of most of the hit films like Bahubali, Magadheera, Eega, Life of Pie and others were created in the city and the government was planning to create more jobs in the gaming and animation industry, he stated.

“For the purpose, we will take necessary steps and boost the gaming industry with all support,” the IT minister maintained. He stated T–Hub building under second phase will be started soon besides constructing a big incubator by the name of Telangana Technology in the City. KTR also stated that the City was housing more than 100 centers and institutes involved in gaming business employing some 30,000 people, he said. The State Government will offer special incentives to gaming and multi-media sectors enabling them to be more productive and bring name to the State. This will help create more jobs to the youth, he added. (NSS)
