Islamabad [Pakistan]: The legal team of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) party has reportedly begun presenting more evidence before the Supreme Court to prove its allegations that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members were guilty of corruption and operating illegal accounts abroad.
“We have collected a number of new [pieces of] evidence against the prime minister, and a few will be presented before the apex court on Wednesday,” PTI leader Arif Alvi was quoted by the Dawn, as saying after attending a meeting of the party’s legal team, chaired by Imran Khan, at his Banigala residence here on Monday.
Alvi, however, refused to divulge details of what would be presented before the apex court on November 30, but hinted that the new evidence was related to the purchase of the Sharifs’ London flats. (ANI)
