New Delhi, December 05: In a novel way to help students appear in exams as per their convenience, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced an ‘On-demand examination’ scheme.
Those students, who have completed their period of minimum study hours and submitted assignments, can avail the facility, a release issued by the university said.
The results of such exam will be announced within two weeks of appearing in the exam. Students can choose the date of test as per their choice and preparation instead of waiting till the term-end examination.
The facility would be of immense help of those students who do not find time to appear in all papers in a go during the term-end examination. It will also help such students who want immediate results for progress of their career, the release added.
The on-demand exam will be completely computer-based and will be conducted under camera surveillance.
