New Delhi: Dr Zafarul Islam Khan Chairman Minority Commission Delhi believes that if RSS mediates, Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi dispute could be solved. While Maulana Salman Nadwi who has been expelled by All India Muslim Personal Law Board has disassociated himself from Ayodhya issue, now Dr Zafarul Islam seems to be following the same path. Dr Zafar also thinks that there is no harm if masjid is shifted from one place to another.
Dr Zafarul Islam expressed his views during talks on Hindi news portal ‘News 18’. He clearly said ‘the world knows that RSS is a powerful organisation. It tops the Hindu organisations of India. So no one will object to it. Hence if RSS intervenes in the dispute a solution can be sought.
On the question that the case is pending with the court, Dr Islam said the case is pending with the court for 70 years. Riots, violence and volatile situation prevailing in the country due to the dispute. So while waiting for Court’s decision we should also try to seek other solutions.
