Mumbai, January 14: Sulking Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh today said he quit from all organisational posts, owing to poor health, and there was no political motive for the same.
“I quit on health grounds. I cannot work for 20-20 hours at a stretch now,” Singh, who landed here from Dubai in the afternoon, told reporters at the airport.
The SP leader is here to campaign for party colleague Abu Azmi’s son Farhan, who is contesting Bhiwandi Assembly by-election.
“I came to campaign for Farhan, who is like a son to me,” Singh said. “I will campaign and immediately go abroad without going to Delhi,” he said.
