Hyderabad, September 26: Congress party has conducted a huge meeting ‘North Coastal Congress Gharjana’ at RK beach in Visakhapatnam on Sunday evening, which also marks the official merger of PRP. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana, Minister Darmana Prasada Rao, Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind and many other local and state leaders have participated in this meeting.
Kiran Kumar Reddy, defending himself and his recently announced welfare schemes has said that, one can’t become a Chief Minister of the state without having it in his fate. “When, I assume office, the state is passing through its worse time. While some demands for separate state some others demand for united state. The financial condition of the state was also not that good, when I assume office. Yet, crossing all these hurdles I am going ahead with full confidence. When, I assumed office then, I have asked the people to give me one year period to show what I am. I have promised the people that within one year I will bring a total change in the state. All my welfare schemes and my plans are chalked out accordingly.”
Speaking about Chiranjeevi’s presence in the party, KKR has said “When a film is being made no one will be sure about its success. But, I can assure you all that Chiranjeevi in Congress party will be a big hit.”
Chiranjeevi, when his turn comes to speak he is all praise to CM KKR. He said “He is not a man of words but action. Once he is committed on some thing it is a promise and he will not take back his word at any cost.”
Further, speaking on the occasion he said that, he didn’t came into politics for power or some thing, but came to remove the financial differences between the rich and poor in the state. But, since his party strength is not enough to achieve his goal he has merged his PRP into Congress party. He said he feel very happy to address the people as a Congress leader in this meeting. Criticizing Chandrababu he said it looks very funny to watch a corrupt person like Chandrababu is also speaking against corruption. He described BJP is also following his two eyes principle.
