New Delhi, August 16: Yesteryears Bollywood siren Aruna Irani, who once sizzled on the silver screen with her bold characters has not watched a single movie in the last decade and does not miss films anymore.
Irani who made her debut in 1961 with the movie Ganga Jamna is now completely devoted to the small screen and feels there is a dearth of good roles in films now.
“I haven’t watched a film in ten years and I am not doing any films because there are no good roles there. Luckily I got very good roles on television,” says Irani.
Irani, who carved a niche for herself with memorable supporting acts in films like ‘Roti kapda aur makaan’ and Qurbani, feels her job is to act, irrespective of the platform.
