New Delhi, July 26: Former Telecom Minister AS Raja who comes out of Tihar jail for the first time after his arrest in February to attend his 2G spectrum case in CBI court at New Delhi on Saturday, has told the court that both Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh and P.Chidambaram were well aware of the allocation of 2G spectrum licenses and the deals were made with their approval only. This leads to uproar in the political circles and Congress become the soft target for BJP and other political parties in this regard.
But, as if something happened overnight AS Raja gave a clarification to his yesterday’s statement. He said ‘I didn’t asked to implicate the PM and HM in this case, but just told the court that they also aware of the deals. But, media misinterpreted my statement.
After completing his arguments in the court, AS Raja giving retard to his party colleagues who blames him of cheating the Government has said ‘Kis Government ne kahaiki humne chuna lagaya? (Which Government can blame me that I have cheated it?).
He also blames the CBI stating “koi dudh ka dhula nahi hota hai.” (No one can be fair and honest.)
It seems he wants to understand the courts and the people that whatever the scams have taken place during his regime should be considered as an official and authorized transactions between the Government and private persons, because they have approval of PM and HM. Is it a way to legalizing the corruption at higher offices?
