Udaipur, September 16: Azam Khan, a key witness in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case who was allegedly shot at by unidentified persons, today said he was not safe in Rajasthan and will shortly shift to Ahmedabad or Mumbai.
Azam also said he did not know who attacked him.
“I am not safe in Rajasthan and will shortly shift to Mumbai or Ahmedabad,” he told reporters here today.
When asked whether he had any suspects, he said he had many enemies that it was not possible to name anyone.
Khan, 38, received bullet injuries in his left arm yesterday after he shot at by two motorcycle-borne persons near Udai Sagar Lake here. He was with a friend when the incident occurred. The miscreants fled after firing two rounds. Khan’s friend was unhurt.
He left the hospital last night saying that he was not safe in the hospital.
