Hyderabad: A 30-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide by jumping from fifth floor of an apartment building at Akbarbagh under the Chaderghat police station limits here on Monday.
According to the police, Sirisha jumped down from the fifth floor of Sri Sai Apartment. Her family members told the police that Sirisha was mentally disturbed and was under treatment for the same for the some months. They also said Sirisha attempted to jump earlier in the morning too, but her relatives had stopped her and brought her back home. However, in the afternoon, she managed to get past the domestic help and ran to the terrace from where she jumped to death.
The Chaderghat police shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary.
