Hyderabad : KTR declared as ‘Leader of the Year’ award

Hyderabad : Telangana Minister for IT and industries Shri K Taraka Rama Rao has been declared as winner of the ‘Leader of the Year’ award by the national weekly – Business World. KTR will be honoured with the award at the 5th National Smart City Conference in New Delhi on December 20.

The Minister received numerous congratulatory messages pouring in from all quarters. From politicians to celebrities and fans, KTR seemed to be well deserved for the award as he replied to all the messages thanking all of them.

Union Minister of State for Urban Development Hardeep Singh Puri will present the awards.

According to article published in Telangana Today, In a statement, Business World appreciated Rama Rao for presenting the young State of Telangana in a new perspective to the world using Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 as a platform. It has also considered various other aspects like increasing investments in Telangana State and role of the Minister in developmental initiatives that has not only brought him national recognition but also helped Telangana State to strengthen its position as an investment destination.

Similarly, Telangana State has been adjudged as the State with best urban infrastructure. Novel initiatives like Mission Bhagiratha (Urban), Haritha Haaram and Double Bedroom Housing schemes in urban areas have received immense appreciation. The proposed national conference in New Delhi will discuss these issues for development of smart, safe and sustainable cities. An exhibition will be organised on integrated transportation, smart healthcare and digital solutions for urban problems.
