E​ight people arrested for gambling in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Eight persons on Monday were sentenced to prison after the Third Metropolitan Magistrate court convicted them for gambling.

A gaming house in Chirag Ali Lane was raided by Central Zone Task Force on Sunday, where the police arrested them and also seized Rs 32,640 cash and playing cards, reported Telangana Today.

They were also fined for Rs 300 each. The eight people were identified as Abdul Khadeer, 20, the organizer; M Balakrishna Goud, 27; N Sai Nath, 21; Mohammed Jahangeer, 39; Ashok Upadhyaya, 24; Syed Ashwaq, 27; B Vamsi, 22;​ and ​Roshan Yadav, 21.

Magistrate Altaf Hussain convicted them and sent them to Chanchalguda’s Central Prison.
