Hyderabad: Habeeba Fatima (19) got married to Saif who is employed in Abu Dhabi. At the time of marriage, he was given Rs. 5 lakh dowry and ornaments. After a few days of marriage, he went back to Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, his wife became pregnant.
The girl’s in-laws wanted a boy. With this desire, they took her to a black magician. They gave him Rs. 20000 and sister-in-law of Habeeba, Waseema alias Saba cut her hair and give it to the black magician. In return, the magician gave oil to be applied on the stomach of the pregnant woman and allegedly molested Habeeba.

On 31st October 2016, Ms. Habeeba Fatima went to Abu Dhabi to meet her husband. She complained about the molestation of the black magician to her husband but he neglected it and sent her back to Hyderabad. After coming back to Hyderabad, she was again taken to black magician four times to ensure that she delivers a male baby but in May 2017, she gave birth to a baby girl.
Irritated with the birth of the girl child, her father-in-law, Mohammed Sadiq, mother-in-law, Sameena Sultana, sisters-in-law, Saba, Zeba and Sheeba started harassing her to get Rs. 10 lakh more as dowry.
The in-laws told the relatives of the girl that she gave birth to a baby girl because she did not apply the oil given by the black magician.
Meanwhile, the husband sent divorce notice through Yasmeen Sultana, Advocate and former corporator.
DCP of South Zone, Mr. V. Satyanarayana told that the black magician, Shaik Abdur Raheem, father-in-law and mother-in-law of the girl were arrested by the police and a look out notice has been issued for her husband.
