Hyderabad Forum for Telangana has declared its support to Mr. Syed Ibrahim for Mahaboobnagar Assembly seat. It expressed its surprise over the attitude of Telangana JAC of Mahaboobnagar that it is not supporting his candidature.
Announcing the decision of the Forum, Prof. Rama Melkote, Ms. K. Lalitha, Mrs. Madhuri, Mr. Shashi Kumar, Ms. Suneetha and Ms. G. Ghyamala told that BJP has decided to contest against Ibrahim. Telangana JAC is a non political organization. They condemned the apprehensions of BJP that Mahaboobnagar would go back to Razakar period if Ibrahim wins the seat. Such remarks would send wrong signals to Minorities. This is the time to unite all the sections of society to fight for the common cause of getting Telangana state. They appealed to Telangana JAC of Mahaboobnagar to declare their support for Syed Ibrahim.
