Huda Begum’s murder case: major breakthrough in investigations

The South Zone police on Tuesday found a major lead in the murder case of Huda Begum, a 12-year old girl from Bhavani Nagar, Talab Katta. The police obtained footage from a CCTV camera near the victim’s house and started manhunt for the suspected youth. According to reliable sources the six special teams formed to trace the culprit watched CCTV footage in which a man around the age of 25 to 30 years is seen accompanying the girl in Aman Nagar area. The suspect is a wearing brown shirt and was reportedly spotted on August 12, the day Huda Begum went missing.

But police finds it difficult to identify the youth as the footage is very grainy. However police is trying to improve its quality with the help of forensic experts.

It is said that manhunt is also on for a youth named Dastageer who is missing since August 12 the day girl was kidnapped and murdered.

It must be recalled that Huda Begum was found murdered in a water sump at a construction site. She had strangulation marks on her neck. She went to a grocery store near her house but did not return home.
