Noida, May 23: His ‘Kites’ may have not been able to please the critics but Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan says he is not the one to be bothered about the reviews.
Hrithik’s much-awaited ‘Kites’ with Mexican star Barbara Mori hit the theaters on May 21 and according to the distributors grossed over Rs 21 crore on its opening day becoming the second highest opening-day grosser after ‘3 Idiots’.
However, critics have not given a thumbs-up to Anurag Basu directed film saying that the film lacked story and screenplay.
Hrithik, who was here with Barbara and father producer Rakesh Roshan chose to put aside the bad reviews and said that the 140-crore film is his labour of love straight from the heart which has managed to garner good reviews outside India.
