Hindu Mahasabha delegation meets Nirmohi Akhara mahant

Ayodhya, October 07: With the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha demanding ownership of the disputed land in Ayodhya allotted to the Nirmohi Akhara, the latter today clarified it was ready for an amicable solution in the issue only on its conditions.

”We would find the amicable solution only when all conditions are met,” Nirmohi Akhara’s Mahant Bhaskar Das today said after meeting a delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha.

He said the Akhara had already clarified to Dr Ram Vilas Vedanti, who met him a couple of days ago, that they would enter into talks for the amicable solution only when they would get the right for management and performance of prayers of the Ramlalla.

The Mahant further demanded that the Nirmohi Akhara should get the majority representation, if any board is constituted for the Ram temple construction.

The Nirmohi Akhara claimed that they were the one, who performed ‘puja archana’ to Ramlalla on Decmber 23, 1949.

Moreover, they said they had the rights at the ‘Garb Grah’ earlier.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha spearheaded by its vice-president Om Prakash met the Nirmohi Akhara Mahant Bhaskar Das in Ayodhya and lended its support.

In an hour-long talks, the Hindu Mahasabha said the Nirmohi Akhara should get the ownership of the disputed land, besides the right to perform the ‘puja archana’.

In the meet, they also discussed how the issues should be taken to the Supreme Court.

Hindu Mahasabha state unit president Kamlesh Tiwari is also expected to meet Mahant the Nirmohi Akhara on October 9.
