New Delhi: Heavy rains lashed the national capital this morning keeping humidity levels high during the day even as the mercury settled within normal limit.
“The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year while the minimum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal,” a MeT Department official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 98 and 67 per cent.
“25.8 mm of rainfall was received till 11 AM and 2.7 mm of rain was recorded during the day,” the official said.
The weatherman has predicted a cloudy morning for tomorrow with possibility of rain in the evening.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively,” the Department said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 37 and 27.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
