Greater Noida: A 17-year-old differently- abled Dalit girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Kasna village here, police said today.
According to the complaint filed by the girl’s family, the accused Lala Prajapati barged into her home last night when she was alone and raped her. He also threatened her with dire consequences if he informed anyone about it, they said.
Prajapati has been booked under charges of rape and hunt is on to nab him, SP (Rural) Suniti Singh said.
Investigation is underway and the girl has been sent for a medical examination, she said.
