Headley and Rana may be involved in 26/11

New Delhi, November 18: Investigation is going on in order to determine the extent of involvement of the terror duo – Headley and Rana – in the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai. These analyses have determined that these two individuals might have, after all, been a part of the planning process of the 26/11 happenings.

However, India is looking to focus on the voice samples of the Lashkar leaders who were based in Pakistan and had been instructing Ajmal Kasab and his aides in the destruction of the city. India has already collected these samples from mobile phones and satellites.

Now, it looks to match these samples with the ones that were contacting Rana and Headley. It has been discovered that these voices, recognised as those of Sheikh Abdul Rahman Saeed and Sajid Mir, had been asking these jihadis to attack India. Even relevant government sources have revealed that evidences are against Messrs Headley and Rana.

It may be noted here that Mir and Saeed had been arrested in October this year by Pakistan once the US managed to bust the terror plot thst targeted Denmark in addition to India. Pakistan, though, are yet to provide India with any information regarding the arrest of the two terrorists.

On Tuesday, India provided added information to Pakistan regarding the 26/11 attacks so that it could strengthen its operations against Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba. However, Pakistan had retorted that the evidence India provided was not exactly sufficient to take Saeed into custody. Previously, it had refused to part with the voice samples of a number of top Lashkar leaders.
