High Court today expressed discontent at revised GO 123 submitted to it by the Telangana Government as the details are not fulfilling the needs of people to be affected by Mallanna Sagar project. While expressing displeasure for not disclosing steps to provide succor to combined families, the court sought details of compensation and rehabilitation measures to be provided to the land givers. Observing that there is no clarity in the GO the court directed that the government counsel submit a comprehensive affidavit on the necessary steps to be taken. The court expressed anguish at the government for not heading its word of giving Rs 2500 per each family until the compensation is paid. It also asked the government as to how it will compensate the victims of the project and the modus operandi. Adjourning the next hearing to Aug 16, Tuesday the court asked the government to submit a more detailed report. (NSS)
